Once Fyrakk finished absorbing the shadowflames, he emerged from his wellspring and awakened Elder Ignara. Basically Sabellian being in outland for as long as he was far far away from the azerothian old gods freed him from their influence after a time, along with the other black dragons on outland, plus now that they've returned all of the azerothian old gods (that we know of) are dead .
